If you also have an interest in scuba diving, they are the only professional diving operation in the Mentawai Islands. To help you unwind back on land they have on offer a full menu of treatments by experienced staff at the Mentawais only day spa. Or just relax into one of the comfortable lounges at the beachside bar. Aloita Resort caters for a range of guests including couples who may wish to simply opt for a slower pace of life during their stay; laze in the sun and snorkel right off Aloita's private beach. Or families who may wish to go sightseeing on neighbouring islands and witness the lifestyles and traditions of Mentawai natives. Aloita Resort & Spa is located on the island of Silabok, only 5 min from Tua Pejat, the Capital of the Mentawais. It is well connected with the Sumatran mainland by regular ferry services.

More than 70% of the waves in the Mentawais are accessible within an hour by speedboat from Aloita Resort. Right in their backyard only 10 minutes away are five well known consistent spots including Telescopes the world class lefthander which offers longer and straighter barrels than Macaronies when it is firing.
Mellower waves are also close by including a fun learners wave right at the end of Aloita Beach. There are still a few secret spots they keep to themselves - though you might just find yourself surfing them when conditions are right! Their western surf guide will ensure you are always in the right place at the right time.
Prices from AU$250 per person per night
Price includes:
• Up to 2 surf sessions a day in Tua Pejat area which covers Telescopes, Iceland and Scarecrows, Tikus, Muka Ikan, Ombak Tidur and a few more, or one surf sessions (full day) in Playgrounds or Ht’s or Lances left and Bintang.
• Fully air conditioned bungalows.
• All meals, drinking water, hot drinks (sodas, beers, wines & spirits at extra cost resort prices).
• Seafood/Italian/Chinese/Indonesian cuisine
• Experienced english speaking surf/dive guide
Price doesn't include:
• Speed boat to: Nupussy, Bank vaults, E-Bay, Pitstops, Beng-beng, Mainuk, etc, fuel surcharge Rp 1.000.000 for the whole speed boat. From Ht's to Lances left, Bintang, fuel surcharge Rp 600.000 for the whole speed boat. These extra expenses will be split between the guests on board.
