Injidup Spa Retreat is a small luxury resort in Western Australia with great spa facilities, in close proximity to surf breaks, pristine beaches and wineries that the Margaret River region are world renowned for. All 10 luxury villas have their own private plunge pool and sweeping ocean views.
Injidup is surrounded by 3000 acres of the unspoiled Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park in the heart of the Margaret River wine district. Migrating humpback and blue whales provide spectacular entertainment during winter months whilst in spring and summer the entire area bursts into bloom with one of Australia’s most colourful displays of wild flowers.

One of the best healing features of this hotel is its sensational setting on a secluded beach, surrounded by a national park. Amidst the Margaret River wineries and rocky headlands, activities for visitors are designed to rejuvenate.
Fishing, wineries and horseback-riding are just some of the activities that revolve around the stunning surrounding landscape. Upon return, guest can enjoy one of many customised body and facial treatments available at the on-site spa or spend their time in their private villa. There are even private chefs available to spoil the traveller's tastelands with their favourite food or healthy surprises.

Ten immaculately designed villas replete with private day spa are linked by protected timber walkways that flow gently along the site. Surrounded by the sculptural forms of wind blown Melaleuca trees and native Australian wildflowers, guests can take in breathtaking views from almost any point around the retreat.
The Retreat is available for private use, for conferences and for special events such as weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties. With only 10 villas available, private use of the retreat is not out of the question. There are 9 two-bedroom two-bathroom villas and 1 luxury honeymoon suite.
The suites offer a contemporary design featuring heated polished concrete floors, expansive deck with plunge pool, large windows capturing ocean vistas. Timber shutter windows linking bedroom to lounge provide an internal flow with ocean views. It also offers a guest bedroom with views, along with a central 'spa' courtyard. The design is Mediterranean combined with Australian architectural feel.
The suites are linked to the car park and central facility by timber board walks with feature mood lighting and the common area will be landscaped embracing the sensitivities of the area but to a superior standard.
The Master Bedroom
Bedrooms step up from the lounge area, and through timber folding windows, enjoy spectacular ocean views from a king size bed with beautiful linen bedding. A walk in robe with lockable storage takes you through to your private en-suite featuring a separate WC, a double shower and double vanities. Direct access is provided to villa courtyard featuring spa, large windows provide an optional view to this internal garden area.
The Guest Bedroom
The second bedroom has the option of twin king size beds or as a queen size bed. The guest bathroom has a separate WC, a shower, a vanity and built-in lockable robes
The Lounge
The gas fire provides a warmth and style to the simple but stylish fit out of the lounge area, where you can enjoy something from your entertainment system or just enjoy the breathtaking view.
The Dining Area
The dining area features a locally designed and made timber dining suite and chairs, couches, coffee tables etc. with mood lighting. A compact but well equipped facility that allows for the stainless steel sink, microwave, bar refrigerator, cutlery, china and glassware.
The Deck
Each villa suite follow a wide expansive gentle fall of the beach towards the Indian Ocean and presents the guest with wide expansive villa vista views of green native vegetation, granite, white beach sand and turquoise ocean. A large front deck and well-designed screening will provide seclusion from your neighbours. The deck can be enjoyed all year long, including the plunge pool and the superior BBQ facilities sink and bar fridge for entertaining the Australian way.

Surfing
Australia's South West is world famous for its spectacular coastline and the huge surf that has long been a drawcard for visitors. With over 75 major surfing breaks located between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin alone, and many more along the southern coastline, anyone from the novice to the experienced surfer can enjoy the ultimate surfing experience in Australia's South West. Spectacular coastal lookouts provide vantage points to watch those taking on the ocean.
Surf Breaks
Injidup Spa Retreat is located on the cliff top overlooking Injidup Beach that has one beach break (Carpark) and a point break (Injidup Point).
They are located a 10 minute drive from Smiths Beach where is their sister property Smiths Beach Resort, also close is Yallingup, Moses Rock & they are 15-20 minutes from Little Bears & Sugar Loaf - also popular local breaks.
They are approximately 30 mins north from Margaret River.
Injidup Point: Long left off the point that is mellow by local standards. Takes a decent sized S/SW swell wrapping around to get it going.
Injidup Carpark: Injidup is renowned for its right hand break and has a couple of peaks that handle size and even a slight onshore. The right here is the one providing a powerful walling wave over the shallow reef. Picks up plenty of swell and ranges from fun to heavy depending on the size. It is a fairly exposed reef break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Ideal winds are from the east southeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the west southwest. Both left and right reef breaks. If you find it crowded here, go north to Pea Break and Mitchells, where there are long lefts with a couple of take off points making it better when there are large numbers of surfers.

Boranup - With the best surf in the area generally being found south of Margaret River, Boranup is well worth the drive. Here you’ll find pristine, isolated beaches and clean surf.

Redgate - The surf here is usually quite good on a small swell and holds shape well up to a 3 metre swell. The area is out of the main thoroughfare which means less crowding.

Surfers Point – Surfers Point is internationally renowned as the best break in the area and home to the Margaret River Pro. There is nearly always a wave here and when it gets over 12ft the left lines up right into the bay. South side is another sizable and heavy wave that can require lots of paddling. If you can handle even bigger check out the break a couple of hundred metres to the south. There is also a few outer reef breaks south of the boat ramp.

Margaret River Mouth - This is quite a bit smaller with rights and lefts breaking on a sandy bottom so it’s a great spot for beginners.

Yallingup – Another infamous area, Yallingup is has a big left hander and a more shapely right hander that will handle up to 20ft. When it’s really cranking the left will clean up everything in its path.

Three Bears - One of the premier surf spots due to a series of rights and lefts that always seem to have a wave. This break handles anything from 2 to 10ft.
