If you want to surf P-Pass then make sure you are staying as close to the break as possible, P-Pass Surf Camp is that place only 10 minute boat ride. Also a locally owned surf camp in Pohnpei and guests are guaranteed to have a unique Pohnpeian experience. With a sense of tradition and amazing natural surroundings you will really experience a beautiful untouched environment. Palikir Marine camp is managed by Australians who are present year round and are there as your personal surf guides. With a wealth of experience in and out of the water and time in the islands, the guys guarantee you’re in safe hands.

Kolonia is the capital of Pohnpei and can be a busy town, with even the odd peak hour rush. There are a few locally owned restaurants and bars around town that offer great traditional cusinines.

The Caroline Islands is known for its perfect barrels but evidentally enough this doesn’t seem to be the only thing on offer for visitors of these beautiful islands. With stunning waterfalls, mountains and trails to explore, the island is also home to some magnificent flora and fauna, reefs and marine life with out-of-this-world diving and all the colours of the rainbow in the water. Visit WWII relics which lay scattered amongst the tropical forests.

Palikir Pass surf camp have newly built, self-contained bungalows which lay at the foot of the Palikir hills. These hills are in constant view of the famous P-Pass surf break and the surrounding waters. With amazing foothill rainforests as a backdrop to the camp, trickling streams meet the lagoon where you will find the bungalows sitting in alignment.

They have a brand new 30ft surf transfer boat to get you to the breaks as fast as possible, it is equipped with dual 90hp 4 stroke engines. This boat ensures that all your water activities can be done in a safe and secure manner. With the central control for the captain the boat allows you to move around the entire boat and also allows you to go diving or fishing from the boat in complete comfort and accessibility, this makes for the perfect surf transfer boat. When out surfing, the boat will remain with you at all times and when you want a rest or a snack the boats bimini covers assure you get some shaded relief before going out to your next barrel filled, pumping session!

You will have the most amazing surf experience in the Caroline Islands with mind-bobbling waves, great diving, picture perfect rainforests, mesmerizing fishing experiences and great friendly people with you the entire time.

Accommodation

A series of 4 self-contained bungalows. Each bungalow has a uniquely different style and feel about it. The bungalows are all constructed from timber and have traditional thatched roofing. Inside each bungalow is comfortably fitted out with timber flooring, air conditioning,TV, DVD, lounge, dining and a self-contained kitchen. All bungalows come with coffee & tea making facilities and bar fridge.

Sleeping arrangements can be customised to suit the needs of the group for each of the bungalows.
