Surfing
Cloudbreak, Mini’s, Tavarua Rights, Restaurants, Swimming Pools, Love Shacks, Namotu Lefts, Wilkes, Desperations, and Hammers all within a 25 minute boat ride from the resort. Sand dunes and the coral coast are also accessible by road from Sonaisali.
- Wilkes Passage - This fun right-hander is great for most levels of surfers & is best at mid to high tide. Like most of the breaks in the area, it works best with S - SW swell. The only access is by boat. Unfortunately, it is very exposed and prone to being blown out by the prevailing trade winds. Afternoon glass-offs, though rare, can be a truly wonderous sight as clean right hand barrels peel off mechanically into the safety of the deep channel.
- Desperations - A classic wave that doesn't really work until its 4-5ft but just keeps getting better the bigger it gets. A left and a right with length, speed and nice hollow sections.
- Namotu Left - A left that breaks all year round, best from October to April with lighter winds. When its under 6 ft, it will even suit longboards, but becomes very challenging over 6 ft. Namotu itself is a quality wave, but remember to kick off at the end of your ride - don’t fall into the trap of going for that final barrel section - no one gets out of it.
- Cloudbreak - The world famous WCT location is one of the best lefts in the world. With the new laws prohibiting the exclusivity of surf breaks, you can now surf this awesome waves any day you want. This is a serious wave though, and will definitely sort the crowds out when it gets over 6ft.
- Mini Cloudbreak - Powerful, fast wave. The best wind direction is south-east. Best around high tide.
- Lighthouse – South of mini-cloudbreak, near the lighthouse. Unfortunately, this one rarely breaks, but when it does, it’s for pros or kamikazes only. Hollow, fast and powerful with a right and a left.
- Restaurants – This is a good, fast left hand reef break for pros or kamikazes only. However, with the new laws prohibiting the exclusivity of surf breaks you can now surf this awesome waves any day you want.
As for the beginners, they can take them down to the Coral Coast (approx 40 mins) to sand bars and bays that suit surf school level and beginners.
Sigatoka Sand Dunes located on the mainland of Viti Levu, this area is a significant agrological site that links some of the discoveries made to early Fijian civilization. The sand dunes distinct break is dependent on the silt brought down by rainfall from the Sigatoka river mouth transforming the waves to break on the dunes. Not only are the Sand Dunes renowned for its wave consistency but this exceptional break offers a perfect alternative to reef breaks. For more challenging breaks try out the infamous Namotu Lefts, Cloudbreak, and Restaurants. Cloudbreak and Restaurants are set over shallow reef off Tavarua Island and are characterized by their long, fast barrelling lefts. Both breaks provide the perfect surfing elements that make for World Championship tours like the Globe Pros and Roxy Fiji Pros. These are excellent waves to ride for the truly advanced surfer.
The surf guides are more than qualified - not only are the majority of them all surfers themselves but they are all qualified life guards and part of Fijian Water Patrol.

Boat Trips
Island Hopping
Board the fast boat Cagi Laba for a cruise, swimming and snorkelling around the neighbouring Mamanuca Islands. First landfall is to the Twin Resorts of Plantation Resort and Muscat Cove. After exploring the delights of these two Island Resorts, it's off to Qalito Island where Castaway Island Resort is situated for a quick swim and some snorkelling. A short boat ride and you arrive at the uninhabited Honeymoon Island for some serious snorkelling before returning to Sonaisali.

Dolphin Watching
Come and watch pods of Spinner Dolphins in their natural habitat surface playing in pacific oceans blue water in the Mamanuca group close to barrier reef. Dolphins are the world's most fascinating marine mammals. Fiji is home to the Spinner Dolphin that frequently lives in pods of up to 60 individuals, and is named after it's incredible acrobatic antics. Board the fast boat Cagi Laba and staff will entertain you with information about the dolphins, while you enjoy this natural spectacle.

Snorkeling Sea-fari: Turtle Rock
Turtle Rock is situated on the spectacular Kingfisher Reef, just 20 minutes offshore by Resort fast boat Cagi Laba (pronounced thangi - lum - ba). This fascinating and easily accessible underwater world is alive with a myriad of brilliantly colorful tropical fish and spectacular coral formations. An experience not to be missed for novices and experienced snorkellers alike.

Jungle Safari
An experience unique to Sonaisali. The cruise travels up the sheltered waters of the Nadi River adjacent to the island, through dense mangrove jungle and lush cane fields and past the thermal 'Bubbling Spring' - a natural phenomenon of the mangrove ecosystem. Diving

Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, the Sunset Terrace Restaurant is open air dining with a difference. Surrounded by one of the largest lagoon style pools in Fiji, the Sunset Terrace Restaurant delights diners with many and varied menu selections.
The Full American Buffet Breakfast will tempt even the fussiest eaters with is large selection of morning treats. Natadola Beach Excursion
Swim and snorkel in the clear blue surf of Fiji's most popular beach. Horse ride, visit the local village or simply beach comb along the pure white sands. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen and sandshoes for personal protection. 3 hour tour.

Village TourFully escorted Tour to neighboring Korovuto Village where you will be greeted by the village Chief, Turaga Ni Koro, and present him with a traditional gift. The presentation is followed by a Kava ceremony, during which guests are invited to partake of a 'bowl' with their hosts in formal recognition of your official welcome into the village community. Your gracious hosts will then conduct a guided tour of Korovuto. The excursion affords a unique opportunity to experience Fijian village life at first hand and is not to be missed. Lawai Village Pottery Trip
An escorted visit to Lawai village located beside the picturesque Sigatoka River 30 minutes south of the Resort. An official welcome to the village, including a traditional Kava ceremony, is followed by afternoon (lemon-leaf) tea and a guided tour of the village during which local potters demonstrate their art performed without benefit of a potter's wheel or kiln. Hand-made pottery items are available for purchase at moderate prices. 2 hour tour
Denarau Golf
Play 9 or 18 holes on the first class International Golf Course on Denarau Island. Enjoy scenic greens overlooking the Pacific Ocean while you improve your technique. Transfers to the Golf Course are included and formal Golf attire is required.
The Garden Of The Sleeping Giant
The tropical gardens were founded by actor Raymond Burr (Perry Mason) in 1977 as his own private orchid collection.
The gardens now display Fiji's largest and world famous orchid collection. The gardens are nestled in a shady valley over which the legendary 'Sleeping Giants' mountain towers.
It's exotic orchids and tropical flowering plants offer an interesting and relaxing way in which to experience Fiji's unique and spectacular flora.
Visitors are welcome to explore the Gardens, Lily pond and Tropical jungle board walks on their own in the company of specialist Garden Guides. This is a popular tour that appeals to all ages. 2 Hour TourNadi Cultural Excursion

- The Kids Club is open 7 days per week from 09.00 - 21.00 daily.
- From 1st January 2011 Kids Club will be F$10.50 per child, per day for all children from 4 - 12 years and under of age, unless specified on your booking.
- A kids pack will be given to all kids on their first day in Kids Club.
- All children receive a free Kids Club t-Shirt - (minimum 3 night stay applies).
- Kids Club attendants run supervised activities throughout the day.
- Please note that the Kids Club is not a crèche or child-minding centre.
- Should your child require extra care, you can utilise our babysitting service.
Babysitting Service:- Babysitting is available from 7.00 am until late daily.
- At least 4 hours notice is required when booking the babysitters.
- Charges: Rate of F$22.00 for the first 2 hours of service and F$4.00 per hour thereafter is payable direct to the babysitter on the completion of her shift.
- An all-day nanny service is also available on request.
