Double Room

One-Bedroom Villa
The resort offers the ultimate indulgence with 10 traditional spacious, one-bedroom, 73 sq m Balinese villas with alang alang thatched roofs and king size bed with a moquito net. The novel outdoor bathrooms each with a hand carved stone ‘egg shell’ bath and shower recess, afford complete privacy. With a spacious balcony and day bed, all villas embrace breathtaking panoramas of the east coast of Bali and the magnificent silhouette of Mount Agung. The guests have an option to connect two villas to accommodate larger families or groups of friends.

Superior One-Bedroom Villa
This villa is nearly identical to a regular One-Bedroom villa. However, it boasts greater elevated views, location, bathroom and the option to have a fresh water plunge pool.

Occasion/Wedding Suite
This 76 sq m suite with a 108 sq m Garden, Bale and Sundeck also boasts a 30 sq m pool and was designed to provide extra comfort and luxury for special occasions like honeymoons, anniversaries or for those who just want to indulge a little more. Featuring a 2.5m circular bed, an outdoor open-air bathroom own double showers, private garden and splendid views, this villa is an ultimate luxury.

Three-Bedroom Villa
Batu Karang Resort features 2 of these villas: Villa Frangipani and Villa Mt Agung. They both feature a master suite, master bathroom and kitchenette upstairs, and two bedrooms with open-air bathrooms downstairs. They are 280-300 sq m, spacious self-contained villas and are designed to accommodate families. Sophisticated and modern interior is combined with the best views over the resort, ocean, the bay and Mt Agung.

Surf & Other Activities

Surfing at Nusa Lembongan: (Dry Season – May to September)

Nusa Lembongan is the quintessential Balinese surf destination that you've dreamed about, away from the 24 hours of in-ya-face partying and sleepless nights of Kuta. Lembongan is a laid back destination where time - and busy roads - don't exist. It also happens to have some great surf spots. With surf breaks known as Lacerations and Razors you should know what to expect, though there are a couple of mellower reefs such as Playgrounds and Cheningan, a great longboard wave.

  • Shipwrecks - The most famous and most surfed of all the waves on Nusa Lembongan, this right produces a good wall for manoeuvres and, depending on the tide, good tubes. Best at medium tide with a 4 to 6 foot swell, but can hold bigger swell on a good day.
  • Lacerations - A powerful and very hollow right hander that can produce some of the best barrels around if the swell direction is right. Best at medium tide with swell of 3 to 8 ft. Breaks on very sharp live coral reef, hence the name!!
  • Playgrounds - A right and a left with a soft coral bottom that are very easy and fun to surf, making it the favourite of inexperienced surfers and longboarders. Best with medium swell (3 to 6 ft) and medium or high tide.

If you're keen to get some Indo perfection while also keeping the missus happy and you want to avoid the hecticness of Bali but not have to travel too far then Lembongan is a perfect way to go. I loved every minute of it.
