Sjalina - Banyak Islands

The Bayaks Islands is one of the last surfing frontiers in Indonesia located approximately 60 miles off the northwest coast of Sumatra. There are two main islands in the Banyaks one being Treasure Island and the Bay of Plenty Island hiding perfectly aligned breaks waiting to be discovered.  The Banyaks have been closely guarded and has hidden treasures of unnamed deep barrels, fast hollow down the line peelers, perfect peaks and long cruising walls…something for everyone.

Cruise the Islands in comfort of air-conditioning and surf uncrowded waves aboard the Sjalina a 50ft motor yacht accommodation up to 6 people and has a average cruising speed of 10 knots. She is fitted with all the appropriate safety equipment, and has a satellite phone onboard in case you feel the need to call home and tell them about the unspoilt rainforests, local wildlife, Sumatran sunsets or the epic waves you caught that day.

If you would like to get out of the sun and surf there is a large air-conditioned saloon fitted with TV,DVD,VCD players with plenty of films to choose from, or chill out on deck or in your cabin with music from your IPod or MP3 through the charters sound system.

Sjalina is a 50ft motor yacht with twin 200HP Mitsubishi engines and accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Her cruising speed is 10 knots and is fitted with all appropriate safety equipment including a top of the line satellite telephone allowing you to be in contact with your family, friends or business if needed.

The saloon and guest cabins are fully air-conditioned to provide the best possible comfort. There are shower, toilet and on deck fresh water rinsing facilities to service your needs and keep you refreshed after each surf session. Sjalina has a water-maker, which can provide 80 litres of fresh water per hour.

There is a Canon EOS 5D camera to ensure you have some quality pictures to take home that will make all your friends envious of your latest surfing adventure.

There are two tender boats:

• 3.5-meter inflatable zodiac with a brand new 15HP Yamaha outboard engine.
• 6-meter dory with a 25HP Mariner outboard engine.
