The west coast of France has miles of beaches, and Hossegor in particular plays host to numerous big name surf comps. The surf breaks here are considered among the best in the world. Hossegor also has several well known and long established surf schools who offer tuition to beginners and experts alike. Quiksilver pro Gabe Davies and his business partner, Vans pro, Joel Gray, bring you a creative surf coaching package for novice & intermediate surfers. Lessons are available for individuals & groups.
The chalet style accommodation is situated on the Atlantic Coast, in South West France, 5 minutes drive from the spectacular beaches of Hossegor, Capbreton and Seignosse and only 20 minutes from Biarritz airport, 1 hour from Pau International Airport, and 1.5 hours from Bordeaux International Airport.
It has five twin bedrooms all on the first floor, all of which can be made into doubles. Two of the rooms can also be made into triples. All the rooms are bright and newly decorated with modern en-suite shower rooms and a safe for your valuables. There is a selection of novels in each bedroom for you to read, space to hang up your clothes and the rooms are cleaned daily.
The towels are changed mid week and dried daily.There is a spacious living room which has large comfortable sofas and chairs; they have a vast selection of music, videos and DVDs for your entertainment as well as satellite channels. They also have access to the internet.
The dining room, which comfortably seats twelve, has a big central table, magnificent fire place and original beautiful wooden floors.
There is also a room with up to date, cardiovascular exercise equipment and some free weights. Your live-in hosts are both fully qualified sports therapists and sports masseurs, with well over 20 years experience between them and who also offer relaxing massage, lymphatic drainage, reflexology and shiatsu.
In the Aquitaine region of France there are 45 golf courses. Within 45 mins/1 hour of us there are over 20 golf courses and these include some of Frances oldest and most famous championship golf courses, such as Golf de Biarritz Le Phare, established in 1889 and Golf d'Hossegor established in 1930. Green fees range from under 20 Euros to 40 Euros low season and 20 Euros to 60 Euros high season. There is also a five day "Golf Pass Biarritz", offering you the chance to play on a different course each day. These courses include, Golf d'Arcangues, Golf de Bassussary, Golf de Biarritz, Golf du Moliets and Golf de Seignosse. This costs 198 Euros low season and 250 Euros high season (7th July - 31st August). This is price per person. In the low season there is also a weekend pass for two rounds of golf for 80 Euros per person.
