The Perfect Wave Travel Co endeavours to support the local surf community and encourages young and up-and-coming surfers in their quest to become successful pro surfers on the WCT.
We have a number of local boardriding clubs that we offer sponsorship and prizes to for their competitions, and we have previously sponsored the Mambo Pro Junior competition in Manly.
Our highly qualified and experienced consultants provide expert advice on destinations; find the best possible itinerary and price; and can arrange not only flights and accommodation but any other tours or sightseeing for pre/post competition events.
We also offer 24 hour, 7 days a week support for flight changes or emergencies.

The Perfect Wave has also joined forces with R.E. Gold Management - a local surfer management program which specialises in providing ‘on-tour’ support and personal management to its clients.
R.E. Gold management’s main aim is to provide access to a support network designed to assist competitive and non-competitive surfers with the physical, mental, logistical and administrative demands of their professional careers.
The Perfect Wave is now part of that support network, providing not only sponsorship, but also access to the travel services required for professional surfers to get to and from all their competition events.

Introducing - The Perfect Wave Surf Team
We wouldn't ever want to be considered boring at all here at The Perfect Wave Travel Co. So we have set a challenge to it’s newly sponsored athletes... Which ever rider can pull off the most outrageous and innovative promotion of The Perfect Wave will win a nice little incentive to add to the goodies bag provided by the Team at The Perfect Wave Travel Company.
So what does that mean for you guys at home? Well it means not only will our athletes be traveling to a beach near you sometime pretty soon, they are more than likely going to be doing something embarrassing while they are there. As you can see we have already got Noah nude, nice one.
Stay tuned for more on what they come up with over the next few weeks...

Noah Lane
Noah is one of those quiet achievers, never bragging or boasting in his successors, so much so that you’d be surprised to hear his surfing achievements had he not been splashed across the pages of magazines for the better part of 2009.
No stranger to the winners place, Noah was the first of only two Pro Juniors other than Owen Wright to win an event in 2009, winning the Fantastic Noodles Pro Junior, in South Australia straight off the back of his 2nd placing at the Chill Pro Junior in Western Australia.
Finishing 7th in the ASP Australasian Pro Junior ratings, Noah was invited on the ASL Hot 100 Trip to the US, featured in the ASL Hot 100 Magazine and DVD and qualified for a seat into the 2010 ASP World Junior Championship Trials.
Having just celebrated his 21st birthday, Noah is embarking his WQS maiden year with his quiet professionalism and an aim to always improve on what he has done, while always keeping a smile on his face. Keep an eye on Noah this coming year as this Perfect Wave rider is guaranteed to impress…

Jay Quinn
The dark horse of the WQS, Jay Quinn possesses an illustrious competitive background. Crowned New Zealands first and only world champion, Jay took out the 2002 World Junior Championships and has since campaigned strongly on the WQS.
2009 saw the WQS veteran take a much-needed hiatus from the WQS grind. Back with a renewed fire in his belly, Jay is sure to land himself some good results and turn heads whilst doing so.

Leigh Sedley
One of the most competitive natural footers you will come across, Sedz is a seasoned veteran of the WQS and has his sights firmly set on the ASP World Tour. His style is distinctly recognisable and powerful despite his often laid back approach to life. His second passion is music and with his can-do-all attitude, Sedz also has a blossoming DJ’ing career playing at numerous industry gigs and LA clubs in 2009.

Wylie Moyes
Free surfer by trade, Wylie feels most competitive when faced with a camera rather than a surf competition and always wants to be the guy getting the best shots. Often disappearing for stretches at a time, his favourite past time is chasing waves in exotic places, always ensuring the moment is captured on film. No stranger to travel, Wylie measures time by when and where his last trip was and the next one will be.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Luke Cheadle
Luke Cheadle isn’t your average WQS surfer. In his bid to find his surfing career, Luke has turned to modeling and as such has opened up a whole new avenue for exposure. With a string of recent local successes in the water to kick off his year, Luke was also nominated by a secret source for the 2010 Cleo Bachelor of the Year and will feature heavily in the magazine’s campaign.
With a smooth style both in and out of the water, Cheadz always goes about achieving his surfing goals with a certain flair that no other professional surfer possesses. Cheadz is able to make his manouevres and lifestyle look effortless.

Mitch Taylor
The fun loving larakin of the team, Mitch’s youthful approach and sense of hunour to everything he does makes every trip with him an entertaining one! But despite this, Mitch is one serious little surfer. Rarely will you find him at home… rather Bali, Kalbarri, Margaret River… never a dull moment and rarely the same location. Despite his many years of competition Mitch is actually still only a Pro Junior, so with the world at his feet and travel on his mind, you are sure to see more of this kid at a beach near you.

Matt Baldock
Hailing from WA’s famed Margaret River region, Matt has not only been able to learn in world class surfing conditions, he has been blessed with un-crowded beach and reef breaks along with access to larger, outer reef breaks most surfers don’t even consider tackling until much later. Matt has developed a strong style and a preference for surfing bigger, more powerful waves.
Nicknamed “Winner” for a very good reason, Matt who used to compete in everything with his older brother has channeled this competitive streak into a surfing career, beginning on the ASP Australasian Pro Junior Series in 2010. Matt grew up traveling with his large surfing family and so it is only fitting that he now joins The Perfect Wave Travel Co.’s large surfing family…

Bijou Busse
She stands out from the crowd for a number of reasons, the least of these being that she is the team’s only girl. Tackling waves that half the boys would shy away from, Bijou feels most alive when faced with a 20 foot drop into a wave you could drive a bus through.
Keen to push herself to the limit in 2010, Bijou not only turns heads, this girl blows minds with what she does for fun.

Kim Feast
Another Southwest WA team rider, Kim is the region’s biggest Dropknee export and has his sights firmly set on the 2010 Dropknee World Title, which is well within his reach. Growing up with North Point as his home break, Kim has developed a fast, powerful dynamic style of dropknee to match the heavy waves of Cowaramup Bay. Never one to remain stagnant, Kim travels to events and to chase waves ensuring he has a well rounded repertoire. With no traction in the form of fins on the bottom of his board, Kim’s ability to surf larger, heavier waves dropknee is cutting edge and he is a the forefront of this school of wave riding pioneering in board design and wave approach. Aside from his World Title campaign, Kim is most certainly making his mark felt on the sport, the world over.
Never ones to stick to the usual way of doing things The Perfect Wave Travel Company has set a challenge to it’s newly sponsored athletes... Which ever rider can pull off the most outrageous and innovative promotion of The Perfect Wave Travel Company will win a nice little incentive to add to the goodies bag provided by the Team at The Perfect Wave Travel Company.
So what does that mean for you guys at home? Well it means not only will our athletes be traveling to a beach near you sometime pretty soon, they are more than likely going to be doing something embarrassing while they are there... You are sure to see more of these athletes and in turn The Perfect Wave Travel Company in the near future.
Stay tuned for more on what they come up with over the next few weeks...
