Boat description
 
"Sans Souci" coming from the French Language meaning "Without Worries", this is what you can expect from this purpose built, luxuriously appointed vessel, built to accommodate 14 passengers in the ultimate of air conditioned comfort.

SansSouci was built in 1995 in Western Australia under West Australian Department of Transport Survey to the worldwide USL Code. She is built in GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) with foam core for strength and durability whilst having excellent sound and temperature shielding qualities.

SansSouci boasts a large and luxurious saloon area, comfortable sun deck on the bow, shaded top viewing deck and covered rear deck for you comfort.
Complete and independently controlled sound & video system capable of playing any format : Tape's, CD, MP3, VCD, DVD, VHS (PAL & NTSC).

Contact to the outside world is via Inmarsat Mini M telephone system with a specialized Automatic Marine Aerial allowing 24-hour contact by phone or fax, anywhere, anytime.

Email - Now with a RBgan email service for your convenience. They also receive swell/weather reports morning and night.
 

Accommodation
Sleeping quarters below provide absolute comfort & privacy with two cabins with a double bed, Pullman and ensuite. Two cabins with upper & lower bunks and "V" berth with 2 upper & 2 lower bunks. Captain & Crew have separate quarters.

Captain & Crew
The Captain is internationally qualified under the USL Code with many years of experience at sea and the Mentawai Islands. Their chef is a fully qualified chef with years of experience. Both captain & chef are West Australian whilst Timmy and Site (pronounced C-tay) are their Indonesian crew. Timmy has 10 years experience onboard Sans Souci!  With four very experienced and professional crew, and with a total of 24 years of operating in the Mentawais and Northern Sumatra, your trip is sure to be the best & ultimate boat charter.

The culinary delights onboard Sans Souci!
The food varies from charter to charter depending on the origin of the guests but the main basis is food combining to ensure that your energy levels stay high. Fresh fish is available when they catch it and they are stocked for Sushi, Sashimi & Titaki. They carefully select the freshest local Sumatran ingredients to best suit your pallet & nourishment. They have some of Australia's finest produce specially bought over to suit your high energy needs. These include Porter House Steak, Australian Lamb, Gourmet Harvey Beef sausage, Cheese and Bacon. Not to mention a lot of other specialty items such as Red & White Wines straight from the famous Margaret River Region of West Australia. Also Spirits - Whisky, Bourbon, Vodka, Gin, Rum, and Aussie Beers!

Sample menu :
The breakfasts are all continental set up with a rotation of oatmeal, banana pancakes and eggs. Also including home made muesli, fruit juice, coffee, tea & toast.

Lunches are either home made beef / fish burgers served with fresh greens, Australian cheese and an assortment of sauces; the famous Mie Goreng - Indonesian stir fried noodles with vegetables, egg and prawn crackers; or Mediterranean pasta and potato salads with sauces and fresh bread.

Dinner consists of fresh Cod, Wahoo, Mackerel, Trevally with cream potato, steam vegetables and orange butter sauce; beef lasagna served with a fresh garden salad and home baked focaccia bread; or BBQ chicken served with fresh Asian slaw, steamed rice and peanut satay sauce.

Morning Teas are light so you can keep up your surfing performance during the day with freshly baked muffins/slices or cheese cracker picking platters.

As if your day surfing wasn’t sweet enough without indulging in some of the Chef's special sweet desserts such as :-mixed berry crunchy crust cheesecake; double chocolate mud cake with double cream; or home made apple pie with a creamy vanilla custard.
