The Surf house in Morocco is located in Taghazout, Morocco's surfing paradise a few kilometres north of Agadir (the regional transport hub).
The house has a great terrace with ocean views, which serves as the living room, with couches and hammocks. Here the mint-tea is boiling all day long, at night we light a fire, and occasionally, a chi-cha... The live-in and hilarious local chef cooks up 3 hearty, traditional meals a day, all included in the price. Most of his dishes are true local specialties.
Between NOVEMBER and MAY the coastline in and around Taghazout is full of long, righthand point breaks, perfect reef breaks and friendly beach breaks.
The coast from Agadir up to Immessouane (60 km. north of Agadir) is full of world-class waves, some of them excellent for beginners, others long, fast, barrelling waves for the advanced.
There’s Banana Point, La Source, Anka Point. Killer Point, Boilers, Immessouane
And some secret spots in between...
The Morocco Surfari runs from the 15th of November till the 30th of April.
ACTIVITIES
Horse Riding:
A one hour horseride on the beach, for beginners as well as experienced riders.
Hamam:
Get scrubbed and relax in this Moroccan sauna.
Party night in Agadir:
The nightlife in this city is quite hidden, but we know where to find it!
Souq:
In these maze-like markets in Agadir you can find anything imaginable, and practice your bargaining skills.
Traditional meal with local family:
Visit a local family and have a traditional meal as guests in their house.
SURFING LESSONS
Providing a mix of theory and practical instruction for anyone from raw beginners to experienced surfers. They provide all the best boards and equipment (or you can bring your own).

Price: additional AU$25 per day
A six hour drive down south is where the desert starts and any signs of civilization disappear. Outdoor cooking, sleeping in tents or under the starry night sky, surfing with friends and getting a view of the real desert. For more information inquire with us when you make your surfari reservation.
Camel Rides
Camel rides are possible all around the Taghazout area. Depending on your own bargaining skills you pay between $5 and $20 per ride.
Moroccan massages
For between $8 and $20 (prices can vary depending on the time of season), you can get a massage in the hamam (sauna and traditional bathing house).
Marrakech Trip (3 days)
Price: additional $30 per day
• Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Your guide will take you to the hotel and will take you out for lunch, dinner and sightseeing at the world-famous Djemaa El Fnaa (big square with snake charmers and hundreds of small bustling restaurants).
• Day 2: You'll be taken for breakfast, more sightseeing (the Jewish quarters and the biggest market of Morocco) and lunch in another Moroccan restaurant. Without any further need for a guide and your bearings set, check out some of Marrakech's many attractions.
• Day 3: After breakfast and some last exploring the driver will be waiting at your hotel to bring you back surfing or drive you to any train or bus station, or to the airport... |
