| Boat Description |
Tengirri is a 14 meter (46 foot), live aboard, power catamaran designed and built in Australia in 2004 specifically for luxury surf charters. She is one of the strongest, safest, and fastest vessels operating in Indonesia. Tengirri is powered by twin 430HP Cummins engines and cruises comfortably at 15-17 knots, but is capable of doing up to 22 knots. To maximise surf time, Tengirri aims to travel at night at a comfortable speed of 10 knots and have you on the waves on daylight. If the conditions change during the day she can travel at 15-17 knots to a better location.
With Tengirri you only need 6 people to have the whole boat to yourselves and the maximum number of guests that will ever be onboard is 8.
Catamarans are well known for their spacious layout and stability at sea. Tengirri boasts:
- 3 large outdoor deck areas (back-bottom deck, back-top deck, and front of the boat) fully covered from the sun, ideal platforms to chill out, take photos/video and/or take in the scenery
- Spacious indoor saloon and seated dining area
- Flat screen TV, Stereo amplified CD and cassette tape player with internal and external speakers, DVD/video player, extensive range of CD’s and videos
She also supplies for your enjoyment chess, cards, scrabble, dominos, and a variety of popular board games; a large library with latest novels, educational reading and magazines; and a fully equipped and serviced bar

Comfortable sleeping arrangements for 8 guests plus crew in 6 separate cabins: 2 cabins with a double bed in each; 2 cabins with 2 single beds in each; and 2 cabins with 1 single bed in each. Everyone gets their own bed and if you only have 6 onboard everyone gets their own cabin!!

Tengirri is skippered by Queenslander Jeffrey Davis who has a Master Seaman qualification and a lifetime of experience on the water, as a kid on trawler boats with his father and more recently skippering his own trawlers in Queensland waters.
Onboard Guide/Photographer is Phil Kiem who originates from Newcastle, Australia. Phil has been travelling throughout Indonesia for the last 10 years and speaks Indonesian fluently. Phil has excellent knowledge of when and where the surf will be pumping and will take care of all logistics once you arrive in Padang.
Along with two Indonesian crew, Jeff and Phil will do their best to make sure you have an enjoyable holiday and get the best waves of your life!!!

| Inclusions |
- Return Padang airport to boat transfers
- 12 nights/13 days which means 11 FULL surfing days
- All meals, snacks, water, soft drinks, coffee and tea is included in the price (beer and other alcohol is available at local prices).
- Use of all equipment and facilities onboard Tengirri including dinghy to get you in and out of the line up or to shoot photos from, fishing and snorkelling equipment.
- $5 per person per day Mentawai Government tax
- $25 per guest contribution to Surf Aid International (non-profit organization working to improve the health of people living on the Sumatran islands)
They also have onboard a high quality SLR digital camera SLR digital camera, with 100-400mm zoom lens, to capture all those epic waves, trophy fish, smiles, and good times. Their onboard crew will shoot the photos then you can watch the slideshow that night. Photos can then be burnt onto a CD and purchased at the end of the trip – the ultimate trip souvenir. They do not have a video camera onboard but are happy to record footage if you bring a video camera along.

4 Bobs - A great right hander for all level of surfer including mal riders
E Bay - This world class left hander is both powerful and fast and for experienced surfers only
Kandui - On a good day runs for up to 300m with plenty of barrel sections
HT's (Lances right) - Named Hollow Tree this world famous break is still the best right hander in the Mentawais. Though the tree is now gone.
Lances Left - On the other side to HT's this hollow left holds well up to 12ft but is still a great ride in 3 - 5ft
Icelands - This swell magnet around the corner from Aloita resort is a great fun wave in 4 - 6ft and walls up like a skate park.
Telescopes - A long perfect left that just keeps on barreling - you might remember this wave from the Young Guns movie.
Pitstops - This consistent, fun right will work in both NW and SW swells.
Maccas - Mechanical left hander that just keeps on going. One of the best performance waves on the planet.
Rifles - Can produce the barrel of a lifetime or a pounding you will not forget.
Banyaks, Telo island and Nias - You can access these areas however there may be a fuel surcharge, please ask a consultant for more info
